This is your captain speaking

Yours truly with the #1 dog in the world, Ramiro

I was born in Alabama, U.S.A, in 1989, and was always looking for a way out. For a brief period, I thought I could be a professional runner and moved out to Colorado, though reality swiftly kicked my ass. New York was next—I spent ten years focused on design and animation until 2020 came along and showed me a way out of the city. I spent the next few years traveling throughout Latin America in an old Austrian firetruck before eventually finding love in Qosqo, Perú. My partner and I live with an ever-growing cast of rescued animals in a small adobe house in the shadows of towering Andean peaks. So, yeah, life’s pretty good.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to work with an incredible cast of clients and colleagues, a few of which I’ll name drop here:

YouTube • Brooklyn Museum • O, Miami • Columbia GSAPP • Knight Foundation • MoMA PS1 • Hemmerle International • David Stark Design • Oolite Arts • Royal Academy America • Tate Americas Foundation • Public Art Fund • The Jewish Museum • Baltimore Museum of Art •

I love making work that’s detailed, precise, and surprising—though I always keep my inner modernist in check with a little irreverance.

Lastly, credit where credit is due: the majority of the work exhibitied here was made in tandem with the inimitable Topos Graphics, who I worked with for the better part of my time in NYC, and even still.
